Egg yolk is rich in vitamin A and vitamin D, and is high in iron, phosphorus, sulphur, calcium and among other trace minerals.

Honey is also rich in flavonoids, natural anti-oxidants, assisting in slowing down the ageing process in dogs, and prevent disease. Honey would not undergo fermentation within the dog’s abdominal region, this would assist in stabilizing and covering the stomach walls, improving digestion, solving digestive problems. Research also suggests honey could improve movement in arthritic dogs.
