DESCRIPTION
Turmeric sweet potato cookies are a snack perfect for increasing immunity, a fibrous food for the gastrointestinal tract; as well as a weight-loss snack for those dogs who need it.
Turmeric contains curcumin, having an antioxidant effect, helping dogs in their senescence with their joints and gums, allowing them to stay active. The cellulose in turmeric could help boost the natural immunity in pets, forming a protective barrier against the elements. Turmeric scents in sufficient amounts could aid in engaging the appetite, and at the same time provide health benefits to the intestines of dogs. Trace elements of vitamins and minerals could aid in metabolism and assist in increasing the quality of life.
Sweet potatoes are full of vitamin C, aiding in boosting immunity. More importantly, the vitamin C in sweet potatoes would not be destroyed during the cooking process via heating. Sweet potatoes are also rich in dietary fibre, dietary fibre when consumed alongside the tissues within sweet potatoes themselves, allowing for the peristalsis of the intestines. For dogs with diarrhoea it is of good help for lessening the condition. The skins of sweet potatoes contain polyphenols known as chlorogenic acid, with antioxidant effects, able to slow the effects of aging. At the same time, it could halt the build-up of fat, especially the fat within the organs as well as subdermal subcutaneous fat.
Oatmeal contains soluble vitamins which clump together. The peristalsis would be slower, able to provide the effect of ‘fullness’, and supress the appetite for a time, a perfect food for dogs suffering from obesity. Oatmeal contains beta-glucans, it could assist in absorbing water through osmosis, and lock in the fluids of cells, aiding in the production of cellular collagen, helping to heal wounds, and to repair the skin. Oatmeal also contain desaturated fats, and other useful fatty acids, as well as vitamin E, to bolster the health of the heart and skin.
Sheep milk powders contain vitamins, including vitamin A, helping the strengthening of the immune system, and promote growth. Sheep’s milk contain more proteins, calcium, phosphorus, and other nutritive elements than cow milk, and it is contains more general nutrients. This is also good for when the pets are in their infancy, but also good for them at any select age, allowing pups to gain a stronger immune system, supplementing needed nutrition, boosting their nervous system; and allow adult dogs to strengthen their bowels through peristalsis, and promote growth in their hides and skeletons; and lengthen the lives, regulate the bowels, and strengthen the skeletons of dogs in their twilight years.
